Rodopite mountain, Bulgaria - where I was born

After a six month beautiful trip to Bulgaria where I got to spend a lot of time with my family and friends and take a break from the past six years of overworking myself, I’m now back in the States! Yay!

Lately a lot of synchronistic events have been happening in my life. All with the purpose of taking me on a new path to following my true divine purpose in life.

Or that’s just how I’d like to perceive it! I’m going with the flow and recognizing that these synchronicities are all happening for a reason. It’s all unfolding beautifully.

Since I first came to the US (2005) I spent living one year and a half in Los Angeles,CA and five years before that in Portland, Oregon.

That was definitely a big switch of energy vibrations for me.

While experiencing life in a city like LA was great, and I have to say such a distinct city like LA… I did feel it was not quite my energy. (I guess now looking at the picture of the area I was born at, it makes sense why.) I definitely enjoyed meeting many online friends and peers live there, but overall I felt quite out of balance.

I believe that different regions around the world have their own unique collective energy that they vibrate/resonate on… The people, the air, everything. And I was definitely out of tune with the vibration there. Perhaps, I did tune into the LA vibe, but my mind, body and spirit wasn’t quite happy with it.

I’m in no way judging it! I know some amazing people who are balanced, joyful, happy individuals vibrating on a high frequency, who live there. Perhaps it’s what helps keep some sort of balance there.

Anyways, over the last six months in Bulgaria while meditating I continuously kept on seeing images of Portland and one of my favorite cafes with the best crepes in town… where I absolutely enjoy working from and just one of the many beautiful cozy little coffee shops in town. 

I love the amazing lush green nature all around it. The beautiful big trees outside that I could touch and connect with and get energized, the interesting and unique people passing by, the little bookstore across the street where I could find inspiring books and CDs, gemstones, handmade jewelry and incense and aroma therapy oils.

I’ve always felt magical and extremely happy there and my subconscious was taking me there in it’s meditative alpha and theta wavelengths.

So I feel I’ve been called back to a place I enjoy.

The weather… well… I would ideally prefer to live here in the summer, experience a little bit of spring and fall and find a nice sunny and beautiful location to live during the rest of the year. Mainly because while I do enjoy some of the rain and winters are kind of mild it does rain for a just a little bit too long here

Anyways, I arrived exactly a month ago and I feel very happy. I feel like tons of synchronistic events are happening one after another already, but those I will share later. (Like being without a computer for a month has been one of them… and also being best thing that has happened to me in a long time that’s gotten me to look even deeper inside, reflect on my life and business and see it in a completely different way.)

Let’s just say that I feel that I am in the process of creating amazing things in my life and in the most effortless way that I’ve ever been able to tap into up until this point. How? I would love to continue sharing as I keep checking in with you.

Why did I share all of this with you anyways, you might be asking?

What’s in it for you, right? The important marketing question.

Well, I was hoping that you would pick up on my energy of excitement about life and feel it. That you would catch some of it… kind of like me blowing a kiss at you and you catching it… I felt like just putting the intention out there and spreading the feeling of bliss and love.

I also just wanted to remind you to ask yourself, to reflect on the experiences in your life you’ve had over the last few weeks, months or even just days or hours.

What’s been the primary feeling you’ve been operating from and what have been the experiences you’ve been having?

Do you notice any kind of trend?

Have a lot of things been going downhill for you? Has there been a lot of what we call dysfunctional emotions like anger, anxiety, confusion, fear.

Or have you for the most part been going in a good upward direction, especially when it comes to the way you feel about whatever the situation is in your life.  If that’s the case… Congratulations, because you are doing something right.

I believe that as long as we are alive we should always strive to improve and grow. There is the old adage “if you are not growing you are dying”.

So remember to always be looking for resources, tools, information, situations that help you grow, improve and  continue living a more joyous and happy life every day.

I believe that the purpose we as humans have is to feel good. So I always try to remind myself to feel good!

Now, if you resonated with the first feeling and responded with something like “yah, things have really been sucking lately” then I want you to just stop, just pause for a moment. OK!

Be still for a moment, quite your mind.

Become aware of what’s been happening and how you’ve been feeling and how long has it been going for. Because sometimes that is all you need – just a little wake-up call to help you get out of the cycle, the habit of feeling down and stressed out, anxious and unhappy.

Sometimes  all you need is that awareness of “oh, yeah I’ve allowed myself to be quite stressed out lately”.

Often all it takes to regain the well deserved balance in your live is just becoming aware of how your body-mind is and has been feeling. With that realization it becomes much easier to consciously change and choose how you want to feel. It becomes much easier to make the conscious effort and realize that you do have control over that and no matter what the situation you are in, you still have the choice of changing your perception of it and decide to still feel calm, collected, grounded, emotionally balanced, happy and okay with whatever might be happening.

Perhaps there is a lesson life is throwing at you that it’ time for you to learn based on what’s happening. Or maybe the actual lesson is to show you that you have the power to just tune into a different vibration and begin attracting something else… learning to practice your manifestation power.

For me, I feel that more than anything else the biggest revelation has been the realization that life is short and I don’t know what will happen in the next moment… so taking it as I go and being okay with the unknown… being okay with whatever might happen or happens… being okay and learn to accept the fear of the unknown vs. resisting that fear and expanding it.

There is really just no reason to feel dysfunctional emotions. Anytime you feel stressed, uptight, out of balance, anxious and/or nervous you’re pretty much only harming your own body… Nay, you are actually also harming the collective vibration by operating from a lower vibration, but that’s another topic.

Your body-mind-spirit is a sacred temple.

So if I have one message for you today it would be to encourage you to start honoring your temple. It’s all you truly have, so start honoring it and treating it nicely and infusing it with positive, happy, joyous emotions.

I believe this is the fastest way, the shortest path to creating effortlessly in your life.

I recently did a survey with our community and a staggering 74% of people indicated they wanted help and looked for improving their strategy with using social media sites like Facebook for their business.

Happy Valentines Day!

Recently Facebook introduced their Timeline… their brand new look for your profile. 

The slogan for it is “Tell your life story with a new kind of profile”…

And it is definitely optimized for  you to easily be able to share important, fun, and memorable life events with your friends and even include them in on it.

From your birth, to first kiss, getting engaged, meeting an influential person in your life, first job, graduation, getting married, having your first, second and third child… and the list goes on….

I haven’t spend much time going back and entering any events really, but when I recently lost a client to leukemia, I didn’t want to ever forget about him and the amazing and giving, and energetic person he was… I did create a special space for him on my Timeline. 

It was a truly sad event, and writing this got me sobbing again. 

But it’s not the purpose of this email. 

I just noticed that only about 1450 of my close to 5000 friends, have activated their Timeline. 

So that means that there’s a big chance you haven’t done it as well. 

I know, so many of us are afraid of all the changes that Facebook, introduces. 

But if you are in business, I want to share with you just one of the reasons why I love my Timeline better than my old profile. 

With the new Timeline you now have more precious real estate to advertise your business or anything you want to really. And you can easily through images express yourself and who you are.

And you do this by the very first huge image at the top of your profile.

It’s called the cover. 

You can use any image from your FB albums, or upload a brand new one, or there are plenty of sites, that offer great, fun and funny and cool covers. Just search for FB covers on Google. 

But if you’re in business you might want to use your cover a bit more wisely.

You can use it just like a Billboard, that advertises you and your brand, your website, an online or offline event, a brand new product, your FB business page… or anything else.

One of the biggest hurdles I see many online entrepreneurs face is losing track of what they were here to do.

It’s not hard at all for that to happen with the well known shiny object syndrome and all these product launches going on all the time pulling us in so many different directions.

Here’s one of the main ways to quickly get back on track and get out of the maze of overwhelmed and into the certain lucrative path to success.

You want to start delivering value to your audience! When they say content is king, they are not lying.

Continuously focusing on creating content with valuable education to your audience and your social media circle of prospects is the fastest and surest way to get you back on track!

So commit to doing it this year! You’ll surely notice rapid changes in the level of engagement, brand recognition and leads and sales generation.

But then it comes the next problem and this is why even though so many who know that content and value is king, are just sitting around wasting time on Facebook and not taking action on building value which is what inevitably bring lucrative results for their business.

You are not sure what kind of value, what kind of content to create for your audience.

I believe that 2012 may not be the end of the World but surely will be the end of the World as we know it today, with old dysfunctional structures crumbling down and a new more conscious movement emerging and quickly accelerating.

A lot of marketers are taking on and also giving this advice…

Take the end of the year to move full speed ahead. Take advantage of the holidays when everyone’s on a break and gain leverage over the competition while they are resting.

And sure I agree, you should do that. Although I have a little bit of a different advice today.

I was reading something, that said that when you are in alignment with your divine nature, you are relaxed into existing and not resisting what’s happening externally or internally, you become a living breathing ball of peaceful energy, and coincidences and events start happening in your life without explanation that just reflect who you are and your desires. When you tap into this energy you will start seeing signs, you’ll start meeting random people that can playa big role in whatever’s happening in your life right then, you will start seeing the same messages appear to you in one day let’s say in different forms that the universe is trying to communicate to you, communicate some truth that relates to you and your journey.

I fully believe for this to be true, as I have experienced it many times in my life when I choose to fully surrender.

So this kind of got me thinking…

You know the other day I had the same message appear in two different forms for me. So maybe I should stop and truly listen to the message.

The second time I saw that message was when Jonathan Budd posted this on his Facebook wall:

“sometime we have to slow down in order to speed up. This is a TOUGH TOUGH lesson I’m learning right now. In the last few weeks, I went CRAZY with new activities & self expression. Started break dancing every day, running 2 miles a day,increased yoga, weight training, tennis lessons, etc… and I met the limits of my “Humanity”. Your body NEVER lies,and there’s no cheating it. I’m learning to curb my excitement just enough… so that I actually MEET my goals. Because when you go faster than you really should… it can often be very dangerous. This week… I’ve been humbled unable todo almost anything, due to a knee injury. I’m now learning my lesson… slower is often FASTER. One of my greatest gifts is my ability to implement and move VERY fast… yet it’s also one of my biggest shortcomings. When we can reconcile these two things, and truly just be in the healthy flow of life… we will know a far greater power.”

My response to his post was:

“Hah, this is the second time I hear a similar message today, it must be an omen or something. I was at a very small grocery store today and the lady in front of me was hurrying to pack her groceries in order to free space for the next buyer (me). The woman behind the counter said “Don’t hurry… Sometimes we’re slower when we try to do things in a rush!” ”

And isn’t it true, that sometimes we are in such a hurry to get something done, we stress over it, we bring frustration and anxiety when it doesn’t happen as fast as we want it, that the whole process of creation, of living of enjoying the moment and our actions just becomes unbearable.

So today, while I agree that yes it is important to take rapid action in your business before the end of the year, to take this moment of lethargy among most of your competition during the holidays, is choose to also do it in an enjoyable manner. Infuse your enthusiasm in it and do it from the right balanced energy and intentions.

But also, be ok if you stop with the external action! If that really feels right for you. Let go of any guilt feeling that this might slow you down, or that you are not moving forward!

Know that if you are not taking tangible action there is also other kind of action that might move you even further along…

The action of going within and checking in with your interior.

Sometimes especially this time of year, there is much needed space for reflection.

And in this case internal reflection vs. external action is what the Universe has been trying to communicate to me.

I’ve been so focused on external action over the last couple of years (and more), that sometimes it seems things arenot moving fast enough.

When I stopped and decided to take some time for reflection, I began seeing even stronger results in my business,because I feel I allowed for the space of new energy to emerge, based on the internal work and reflection I’ve been doing.

This is what I posted on my Facebook wall today, and is what I will leave you with:

“Now is the perfect time to set your intentions for the new year. If you have been feeling scattered, overwhelmed or just too busy with life and business, it’s healthy to just stop and take the time to reflect, what it is that you truly want to create in your life, and how you are going to move forward with that in 2012. This helps slow down the busy mind chatter and allows you to surrender and confidently trust your divinity and the unknown territories ahead. Are you taking time for self reflection this time of year?”
