Just as promised continuation of the Power of Networking Live story and my adventure of flying from Spain to LA to Portland and attending 3 different live events in just 5 days.

And just like in the previous post where I actually did not really say much about why Live Events are so powerful, but I left it for you to feel. I am convinced you felt the energy and the power of the post!

So, I want to do the same here.

So the story continues… right after the BraveHeart RISE kick off party Jerry Chen, Emma Tiebens, Glenn Arcaro and I all headed to Portland where we attended the Marketing Funnel Mastery event by Mike Klingler my mentor of all times.

Did you watch it? Did you FEEL it? I am sure you felt the kind of caliber of value that was delivered there.

And no wonder. I mean I worked with Mike Klingler for 5 years and I will never be surprised because he doesn’t allow himself to ever fall short when it comes to professionalism and value.And you should not be surprised either.

He is the only trainer right now that I know of who is teaching what he is and getting such amazing feedback by his students.

And here is some of what I was able to capture. Amazing networking, collaboration, fun and lot’s of laughter with like minded entrepreneurs.

OK, so some of my valued community members were getting worried and asking me, “What’s going on, Didi? I haven’t received your e-mail since last week.”

So here I am decided to calm you all down and actually share that a whole lot has been going on.

Goodness, where do I begin?

Has it been like 2 weeks already?

I returned from Spain.

Landed in LA and didn’t have any time to do anything, but put my biz attire on and meet my friend Jerry Chen at baggage claim.

He took me to the Business Codex event mixer organized by Jorge Bueno and MaryAnne Morco.

I also got to listen to a wonderful presentation by my friend Emma Tiebens the relational marketer. That was soo much fun and the event lasted until perhaps midnight. But wait, that wasn’t the end of it all. After that Jorge, MaryAnne, Jerry, Emma and I decided to wander around the streets of LA late at night and find a place where we can eat and continue the party as you can see from the pictures below.

The following two days continued with the busy craziness.

I spent the next day on a mastermind session with Jerry and Emma and so look out world, with what these three power minds are coming up with.

The next day and that’s the coolest part of it all, and really the whole reason why I decided to come back to the States exactly when I did we went to a special cocktail party hosted by my friend and mentor Ellie Drake and her husband Charlie Drake. This was a kick off party to the coming in October RISE absolutely must attend by any brave heart woman event. In addition to that Ellie and Charlie had their 10th anniversary and that was like the cherry on top of this amazing networking event. I met so many awesome and successful people there that I didn’t even get to try what I know was a delicious cake.

Watching this video below brings a feeling of regret I didn’t get to try it. I don’t know if many of you knew this but my trip to Spain was absolutely spontaneous and I even bought just a one way ticket there. I didn’t know when I am coming back, I didn’t know where I am coming back to. But there was one thing that I knew. And that was that as long as I follow my intuition and listen closely and intently to what it’s telling me, I will know exactly when and what to do.

So when Ellie called me sometime in May and asked me if I am in LA on June 24th and if I would like to go there representing a Social Media Buzz Making team with my company Social Media Press, my intuition told me to say “I can certainly be there” So it was an amazing pleasure to have the team of people representing Social Media Press at the RISE kick of party join me. It was such an amazing pleasure to meet Katie Freiling with Unified Tribe and Glen Arcaro join me and to have met them for the first time. These are amazing and top notch people and leaders. It was awesome also having my good friend and JV partner Alicia Bausley with Empowered Business Entrepreneurs as well as Emma Tiebens The Relational Marketer join me there. Oh and of course @JerryCChen with Build a Magnetic Network.

I am so amazed by the professionalism, leadership and the quality of people as a whole that these gals and guys are. I appreciate everyone of them for joining me because I know how busy all of they are with building their own business and yet they time out of their busy schedule and decided to attend with me.

At the kick of RISE event I met people like Larry Benet the founder of SANG. If you don’t this guy he is someone to definitely get plugged in to. Actually I didn’t know him until on the way to the party Jerry was talking about him and how impressed he was with him. You see, that same week authors and speakers had flew in from all over the World to be on Larry’s stage and a lot of these people were actually at the party as well as Larry. So SANG stands for Speakers and Authors Networking Group. I find that a lot of people don’t know about it, but if your intentions are to establish a speaking career or be an authority author you would want to research SANG and Larry Benet.

I also got to meet with the wonderful Mari Smith, the Facebook queen, she is such an amazing and fun woman to be around. I am so looking forward to hanging out with her again at RISE. Goodness, there were so many other amazing people. The awesome WOW Factor woman Lynn Rose who you will heard sing at the video below. The awesome BraveHeart Women Community Dr. Sugar. This woman changed my life at her RELEASE Experience in March of 2010. I am not sure if anyone’s noticing but a lot of changes have been happening in my life since March. Well RELEASE has a lot to do with that. I have to put up my testimonial for Dr. Sugar. This is an experience EVERY WOMAN should go through.

So, basically after we came back from the kick off party. I was staying with Emma Tiebens who invited me to stay in her absolutely gorgeous home! We got home at 1am and were up at 4 am getting ready to go to Portland. I think it was so cool, that Glenn, Jerry, Emma and I were all headed to Portland to attend another event…

P.S. The title of this blog post is “The Power of Live Events” and I really didn’t address any of that directly, but that’s because I think you can alone see and feel for yourself the POWER of it. So what’s your next Live Event? I hope it’s RISE so that we can meet and connect in person. Oh, and YES this has a lot to with creating a powerful and profitable ONLINE PRESENCE and that’s why I posted it in this category here at the blog as well.

I had so much fun today at the Oceanography in Valencia, Spain which apparently is the second biggest in whole Europe. It was soo beautiful and the architecture amazing as well. And I absolutely fell in love with the Beluga. Its nick name is “sea canary” because of it’s strong vocals when it decides to get heard. I spent perhaps a whole hour watching it swim in a serene, peaceful and such graceful fashion in it’s space. It was truly the most fascinating experience ever.

Once I review the footage from my camera I will most definitely share it with you.

Today, I want to prepare you for something big that’s coming up tomorrow. So, look for an email from me, I would like to say in the morning, but it’s my birthday and I am not sure what surprises might jump out at me, so let’s just say tomorrow some time.

For now, I hope you are enjoying your weekend and are still taking some action toward moving your business forward. Lately, I have been somewhat honest with myself as I started to come to the realization that I have been afraid of making commitments when it comes to personally creating big time projects, the kind that really make a difference…

I think it’s a stumbling block and a challenge for many of us…

It has to do with fear of failure and/or fear of success and what might follow next, fear of what kind of other commitments we might have to make or maybe how we may fail and go backwards.

This realization has been the reason I decided to do this experiment of sharing how I am creating my new online presence publicly. When I decided it I knew that it will help me outgrow and overcome these fears and help to ensure the success of my new project by holding me accountable not only to myself but to you as well…

Do you relate at all to what I am talking about here?

Do you ever find yourself not doing the things on your list that you know will make the biggest difference in your business?

Do you ever find yourself blocking the thoughts and somewhat intentionally but also subconsciously stopping the process when you start thinking long term, big picture and begin dreaming of accomplishing something substantial in your life?

If you answered yes, don’t worry this is very common. But it doesn’t mean that it has to continue. In fact it is crucial that you break out of this pattern if you want to accomplish real success. I have learned this first hand through my work with a few multi million dollar leaders in the internet attraction and network marketing industry.

The one thing that was common across the board was that all of them had a commitment and were focused on the target they had clearly defined and continued to constantly define, and that’s what made them always hit their target.

So, what I would like you to do right now is even if you are not clear on what your target exactly is, just like I don’t yet know with 100% clarity what mine is, to make a commitment to yourself that as you follow me along this journey you will give it your best to define and take the necessary actions and create your own profitable online presence based on your values and passion.

Make a commitment just like I have made my commitment here to you.

I also would highly encourage you to share your thoughts and talk about your commitment here. This would help hold you more accountable to yourself and to others. And it would also help gather supporters to what you do. I would like to encourage you that as we go through these series together you continue to share where you are in the journey and what you have accomplished already.

The other thing you should know is that I am giving myself time. The attitude I have about this project is that this is a medium term project that eventually will have long term fruits to bear and that means that I am giving it at least 6 months to begin achieving real results.

And if this seems like a long time to you… Think again. I will just give you an example of how we at Marketing Merge Professional created the biggest launch in the internet network marketing industry of $1.2 millions in less than 72 hours. This sounds all great. But actually it’s not as fancy as it sounds. It took a team of over 10 people over the period of 9 months to launch it and than several more months to sustain and support the movement that was created from the few days of launch.

So when I am talking about dream big and think about a profitable online presence, I am talking about big. It doesn’t have to necessarily begin with $1.2 millions and it probably won’t. But it would be the launching pad for even bigger success than that, if this is what you set yourself to believe in, desire and act upon.

But you have to start somewhere.

Realize that this doesn’t have to be hard. The commitment you give to yourself here is to keep you accountable and to actually help you see this through.

So often we start something, and than something else comes on the horizon and we go into that and thinking we will come back but actually we forget about the first project as the second appears more important, and than something else comes around, and so on and so on, we always start something but we never finish anything. And that is the wrong way to approach success and the creation of successful ventures.

In the short amount of years I have been here in the US I’ve witnessed this happening to a few people. One project idea after another, all beginning and never being accomplished and it is not a pretty picture.

So, what I am asking from you today, is very simple. It is commitment. Don’t take this lightly. After you leave a comment and write about your commitment here below, I want you to take a few moments and really deeply reflect on this commitment and what it means to you.

Are you ready to take it up a notch? Are you ready to step up to the plate of successful entrepreneurship? Are you ready to quit procrastinating and always having one ready excuse after another when it comes to why things are not happening for you yet?
