The Best Brilliant Idea for Humanity

Hello my awesome fellow entrepreneurs!

If you’ve been plugging into the series here at this blog about Developing a Profitable Online Presence you know that I am sharing with you some fundamental steps that one’s to take in order to get started in the process. I am also going to be sharing much more details about all the different components required to get yourself established correctly online. (coming soon…)

The way I decided to approach this series was that I share how I am creating my new online presence and sharing, tips, training and resources that I plug into along the way. My journey had been slowed down a little bit by several different entrepreneurial endeavors and prior commitments I had, like taking on Mike Klingler’s challenge and strengthening one of my marketing sweet spots that was already in place. I am happy to announce that this is coming along quite nicely and I can’t wait to share the process of that with you.

Now if you’ve been following these series you know that one very important component has been that you and I ask ourselves some very important questions to help us truly identify our true passion so that we know if we are moving in the right direction and so that we make sure we align our brand and presence online with that passion.

In this process I DISCOVERED that I feel passionate about being an entrepreneur and and that I feel that one of my biggest passions is empowering other entrepreneurs in their journey to success. And as I started to think about how to align my new online presence online with that passion I conceived the idea  http://SocialMediaPress.com where any Entrepreneur will be able to come to “Hear, Share and Be The News”. I describe just a little bit about it in the article about these important questions – Identify and Align Your Passion with Your Online Presence

The Best Brilliant Idea For Humanity

I believe that Entrepreneurs are changing the world and impacting and have potential to impact humanity in an amazingly positive ways that I can even begin to conceive.

And so when I received this random email in my email box about a week ago, to join a contest called “The Best Brilliant Idea For Humanity” it didn’t take much thinking after reading the page to know that I MUST participate in this contest and share my brilliant idea with the World.

I realize this is quite a stretch for me, and that was one of the reasons I HAD to do it. But I also realize that I am quite passionate about Social Media Press and creating a platform that empowers and facilitates the Global Entrepreneur and the Global Entrepreneurial Movement and I know this Movement is one that is already empowering and will empower millions of people around the world and it is an idea worth sharing.

In Round 1 starting August 2nd ending September 15th 10% of the contestants will move to the next Round based on number of Votes. People will be able to vote 1 time each round for anyone participating in the contest. Round number 1 revolves around each contestant presenting their Best Brilliant Idea for Humanity and creating a “Pitch Video” about their idea.

  3. Why Do You Think Entrepreneurs Are Changing The World Right Now or have the Potential to in the next 10 years? And HOW?

During the time of economic prosperity, I believe we developed a sense of ENTITLEMENT. We learned to depend on our governments, our employers, our insurance companies, etc. to take care of us. Entrepreneurs have a different mindset. They realize that if they want something, they need to take the responsibility to make it happen themselves. Along the way, they are teaching this new mindset to others. In addition, the most successful entrepreneurs are those who “raise up” the people around them. There is an attitude of abundance and giving – these are values we can all benefit from.

What does the term and actual Global Entrepreneurial Movement means to you and what kind of impact or changes is it bringing about in the World?

The Entrepreneurial Movement isn’t just happening in small pockets of the world – it’s everywhere. There is power in numbers as business owners are able to leverage and support the work of their colleagues. For me, the significance of the Global factor is that it brings together people from different cultures and belief systems in a way that promotes greater understanding, and ultimately…peace.
Why do you choose to be an entrepreneur?

What do you think is the main reason that 40% of the employees in the US will become independent contractors (entrepreneurs) in the next 10 years?

It’s a case of necessity for many. The security of working for the same company over your working life and then retiring with a comfortable income is no longer there. In addition to lay-offs, those who have reached retirement age find they do not have the necessary income to pay bills, let alone enjoy their “golden” years. This is compounded by the fact that we have a longer life expectancy and funds like social security are running out. Younger people witness the struggles of their parents and grandparents and more and more of them are seeking ways to avoid the pitfalls of being dependent on someone else from the very beginning of their careers.

What does the term “Social Entrepreneur” means to you?

Whether on or offline, developing relationships is key to a thriving business. The social entrepreneur understands this and builds their business by connecting with and understanding their customer base FIRST. Through social media, they are able to gain exposure to thousands, if not millions of potential customers and business partners. But what makes those relationships possible is the giving of value first – sharing what you know, being willing to collaborate and help others along the way. The leaders of the Entrepreneurial Movement didn’t get there by being selfish marketers. They got their by helping others build their business and putting the needs of their customers first even when it means referring them to a “competitor’s” product. This goes back to a changing mindset – it is no longer “everyone is out for themselves.” Now it’s a mindset of helping the most people knowing your efforts will come back to you tenfold.

Why Do You Think Entrepreneurs Are Changing The World Right Now or have the Potential to in the next 10 years? And HOW?

I believe entrepreneurs have always been world changers, but in today’s technical age, that change is compounded X 10 because the internet allows news and change to spread virally and globally. The other advantage in the current time is that anybody can step up to the challenge with a little bit of money and lots of desire. The internet has opened the door to new opportunities worldwide. Small business and entrepreneurship is what drives the free market economy, enhances innovation, and builds the social character. Entrepreneurs naturally have the mindset of lifting others to success and spurring ideas through the values of productivity, abundance, and giving.

What does the term and actual Global Entrepreneurial Movement means to you and what kind of impact or changes is it bringing about in the World?

I think the Global Entrepreneurial Movement isn’t just about the shared beliefs and benefits of financial independence and success, but also embraces the opportunity to help fund the small enterprises of those in 3rd world countries with seed money and support to help impoverished people reach sustainable living standards. Entrepreneurship offers hope worldwide and truly alters the mindset of people who have the chance to support themselves. It brings cultures, ideas, and shared values together reaching towards the same goals. It breaks through common barriers and brings more unity.

What do you think is the main reason that 40% of the employees in the US will become independent contractors (entrepreneurs) in the next 10 years?

One reason is financial necessity. The global economy is forcing people to think beyond the “box” of the corporate world and become more innovative and resourceful. A second reason is the internet allows people to have a voice and make a difference. I believe at the core, that people, if given the chance. want to leave a legacy and make a difference in other people’s lives. They want to use their knowledge and gifts to reach their full potential, personally and financially, and help others do the same. The corporate world often limits people’s creativity, purpose, and upward financial mobility. Entrepreneurship opens doors, cultivates potential, and builds wealth.

What does the term “Social Entrepreneur” mean to you?

It means reaching out in relationship with your customers by connecting, listening, empowering and serving. It allows you to know what your customer wants and respond more timely. It embraces partnership with other entrepreneurs through masterminding, joint venturing, and collaborating. I think there is a lot more change taking place from the daily connection, value giving, and the camaraderie that social entrepreneurship provides.

  5. Hey Didi,

Well, some interesting and powerful questions.

In my opinion, social media has changed the world for entrepreneurs and all individuals who can now publish their message, beliefs and points of view to the world.

Like Gary Vee says, The truth is going to win.

Governments and big corporations cannot control the way the world is perceived anymore, social media brings real freedom of speech and everyone’s a publisher.

Entrepreneurs have the power to change where the world is headed through collaboration, working together and joining forces through social tribes.

Powerful entrepreneurs know that one has to give to get, and the giving part is where the major breakthrough’s will come from.

Why do I choose to be an entrepreneur?

Hmm, the power to create, control, serve and be in control of my own destiny.

But going a little deeper than that.. my dad got retrenched when I was 11, never got employed again, started doing odd jobs to pay the bills and broke his back in the process.

And from that point on, things were complicated. Let’s just say I associate massive pain to being employed and having someone else control my next pay check.

    For independent contractors…

Production can be outsourced to anywhere in the world and this will get easier and easier as the years go by.

And as for social entrepreneur, I’d say an entrepreneur who uses new media to build their business around their passion and niche.

The Best Brilliant Idea for Humanity contest is that every one will choose the profession which he most like, and has the best abilities to be {successful and properous, to do the best what he able in his job, and to give value and teach ,qualify other people which he know
    and experieced.
Everyone think that his profession is the mostvalueable to the society.
Ithink that every profession or job which is exict in the economy, it’s mean that it has the aggregate demand, and it’s need and importent for the humanity.

Hey Didi, very powerful questions here , Ill give them a shot…

Entrepreneurs are changing the world or have the potential to do so, because they can create opportunities, they open or create new jobs/positions for others. And Entrepreneurship gives power to the people not just financially, but mentally too.

The term global entrepreneurial movement, im really not familiar with it, but from what you have mentioned in a video, ( if I remember correctly) , but is sounds like a gold rush and we will definitely see it boom in this century. I think one of the biggest changes or impact it would have is that company’s are going to have to embrace change and creative, there are going to see more and more people who are working in their own business or multiple business and their just going to have to work around that. Everyone is going to be doing more than one thing.

Why do I chose to a entrepreneur ? This answer keeps changing and I m finding bigger reasons, but I m not so good at taking orders, so might as well make my own orders lol

Why do I think about 40 % of employees will become entrepreneurs, because people are looking around, and seeing no jobs and realizing safe is not longer that safe ( job security ) also the once that have jobs are realizing that younger generations can fill in those position at a lower pay. If you think about it theirs like four generations that are in the work force, baby boomers are not retiring and the younger crowds are coming in. So its gonna get pretty competitive, unless you try something different,

What does social entrepreneur mean ? To me anything with social, freaks me out lol But building a business is really about building relationship and I learned that through Renegade Professionals/Coaching Cognition :)
