Developing My New Online Presence

What’s the online presence you’re striving for?

What’s the online presence you’re striving for?

I haven’t been sharing much with you in the past 2 and a half weeks, but I’ve been continually thinking about and acting upon creating my new online presence.

I will be sharing some of the results with you here very soon and hopefully this will inspire you to take action and move forward with your own online presence creation.

Truth is, I continually strive to get a lot more clear on the whole vision of my new online presence and I never stop asking myself lots of questions to help me with that.

Truth is also that sometimes no answers come up but I make sure to just keep on digging and keep on coming back and looking for the answers. Eventually they jump out of the blue and little eureka-s are made in my mind almost every day.

So here is what I would like to ask you; that when you think about your business, whether you are just getting started online or you are wondering whether you are on the right track with what you’ve got going on already, to give yourself some time and give yourself permission to not have all the answers, to not have complete clarity and to be absolutely ok with that and to just move one step at a time toward getting that complete clarity of where you are going.

Approach the process from a relaxed state of mind, from a place of knowing that because you have the desire, dedication and commitment you already made  to move forward and find the answers you are looking for that they will come to you, when the time is right.

Frustration and resistance to the process will only slow you down.

Realize that it’s not as hard as it might seem and that anyone starting right now for the first time can create a profitable online presence.

But, there are some vital questions to be answered before you get going with full speed.

First off, I am encouraging you to do a little bit of brainstorming here and think about where you want to go and what you want to achieve online.

I started these series by emphasizing that I will be creating a new presence online and making that profitable.

So first what I should think about is what kind of presence do I want to create?

I know I am starting from scratch and going on a new direction, but what is that?

I feel that some vital questions to helping me determine this are:

What do I love to do?

What do I feel passionate about?

What are my strengths?

What are my interests?

Who am I?

Why am I here?

What am I supposed to be doing with my life?

What would I love to do, and who would I love to be perceived as, with the kind of value I know I have in me to provide?

I have already taken the time to think through these questions…in fact for quite a while (these questions have been lingering in my mind for the last 7 years, believe it or not, and they continuously become clearer). I also had a personal one on one coach who helped me really get a lot of clarity with my answers.

What I would like to encourage you now is that you take the time to do the same and answer these questions for yourself. And yes, give yourself time. This can take a while…But as long as you are asking yourself the right questions, and you are approaching it from a place of non-resistance you will come up with the answers.

You already have the answers to most of these questions in you. You know them. You just have to remind yourself of them.

So take a pen and paper right now and write the answers down. Anything that you can’t answer, just come back to it a bit later after you’ve gone through all of the questions. You might also need to leave a bit more space in between and that is totally OK as well.

Here is a video from one of The Unified Tribe members that I watched today and thought it is a perfect match for this post to bring you some inspiration when you are thinking about these questions.

This is a video by Helen Avery:

DiDi, Oh my gosh, you don’t know this… BUT, this blog post was such a true eye opener for me. See I’ve been struggling to really know what my passion and true purpose is in me starting my new blog… really scared, not knowing what niche I wanted to target and not knowing for sure what my whole purpose truly is with this new blogging adventure…well that was until, just a few minutes ago, when after getting done reading this blog post and watching that incrediably powerful video… it hit me like a ton of bricks and let me tell you… very, very emotional for me, the tears started streaming down, it truly touched my heart so deep… see I saw what I was to do and why, I truly saw my real purpose… God truly is good and knows our hearts, our desires and our dreams. See, he knew what was holding me back from even starting a blog, that little voice was in my mind saying… “What is your Passion and Purpose”… cause you’re just a ordinary kind of country girl… that lives in Rural America… what kind of value do you have to offer ordinary folks like you… you’re not successful… why would they listen to you… well, immediately after reading this post and watching that video did I see that I could give others, just like me a ton of value… it was about finding their “Passion and Purpose in Life!”… just like I have. This is the 3rd time the answer to my prayers has been literally thrown in my face… my prayer has been to please help me find my passion and purpose… Three times God has shown me the answer, it was right there in front of me, but it took seeing it again, for the third time before I really saw the answer… after about 2-3 minutes of emotions from reading this post… knowing that he has had the answer right in front of me…. my eyes are now open to my new FUN adventure in blogging! Thanks so much for this post, my other prayer is that I can create content just like this that gets deep down into someones soul like this did mine… that’s my passion and purpose! Chris

Welcome back Didi! Yes Didi these questions are something that we have all asked ourselves at some point in our lives. Everyone needs to really sit down and seriously think about what you talk about in this great post. Until you are finally doing what you are meant to do and are passionate about you will never really feel like you are truly happy or fulfilled in your life. You may be going to a job everyday that you hate or you may be involved in a business that you hate. Who is the only person in world that can change your situation when you get right down to it? Of course we all know that the answer to that is YOU. And like Didi says… the How doesn’t really matter as much as TAKING ACTION does! Most of the time the answers you are seeking for your life are right there in front of you. Think about this for a minute… What you already do most of the time, what you enjoy doing most, and what you constantly think about are some of the clues to what your passions and real desires in life may be. Could it be that maybe you are already on the road to to pursuing your true passions but haven’t really realized it completely yet? We all need to take a good long and hard look at our lives and what we are doing everyday and ask ourselves the following questions… what area of our lives should we put more focus on the most? What activity can we and should we engage ourselves in on a daily basis that will move us to where we really want to go and truly be. Thanks again for the inspiring and thought provoking posts you always have here Didi.

    Didi,
Great post. I can never get enough! I’ve been asking these question of myself for months. I am like Chris, praying for an eye opener. Because I am so passionate about a lot of things. I am having a hard time pin-pointing. Because I want to share it all with people. I want to give it all away. So, please pray that I find that one thing that will help others in their journey of life. Keep up the great work. I am a dedicated follower. Have a great day!

Hey Didi, great post here! Learned a lot and agree with you on a lot of points here, especially on the frustration and resistance part. Those two combined can really make you blind and not see properly. Those two can also take you down along with your business if you don’t know how to deal with it.

Thanks for such a great post and I love the video! :D
